What is Columns?
Columns refer to the various data fields in our system, such as Name, Created By, Created On, etc.
Users can customize these columns or add new ones to fit their needs.
It’s an organizational structure for displaying and managing data.

Column Types
Attornaid offers various column types. These column types allow you to view and organize your data in different ways.
Text: A column type used to add short information and descriptions.
Long Text: A type of column used for typing long texts, descriptions or other long formatted data that allows for more character lengths than the Text column.
Email: Offers the convenience of adding an email address to items and sending an email to that person directly from Attornaid.
Phone: It is the magic touch of using Attornaid as a customer relationship management (CRM). You can reach your customers and suppliers with a click.
URL: It is very easy to save the website links of pages or companies in your tables and access them with a single click.
Number: You can use it to insert numeric data related to the items in the table. For example, in a project table, it makes it easy to track the number of teams involved in a project, the number of projects.
Checkbox: This column is used to insert binary values (true/false, completed/ongoing) and is an easy-to-use tool for organizing and organizing information.
Single Selection: This column allows the user to select one of several options. The options can be displayed as a list or as a drop-down menu.
Multiple Selection: This column allows the user to select more than one option. The options can be displayed as a list or drop-down menu.
Status: Can be used to track the status of data. For example, if a task has been completed or canceled, you can enter its status in this column.
User: Shows a single person who is responsible for completing a task or project. You can use this column to assign a task or project to a specific person.
Multiple User: Shows multiple people who are responsible for completing a task or project. You can use this column to share a task or project with a team.
Rating: A scale that rates the importance or priority of a task or project. You can use this column to help you compare and prioritize the importance of tasks and projects.
Date: A column that shows the start or end date of a task or project. You can use this column to help you track the timing of tasks and projects.
Date Time: A column that shows the start or end date and time of a task or project. You can use this column to help you track the timing and progress of tasks and projects.
Relation Link: Allows you to bring data from other dashboards in your account to the current dashboard.
Image: A column containing an image that represents a task or project.
File: You can use it to help store documents and resources of tasks and projects and to help manage tasks and projects more efficiently.
HTML Editor: Allows tasks and projects to include HTML code such as web pages, emails or other HTML-based content.
Email Editor: Supports any email message. This can include text, links, images, file attachments and more.
Code Editor: Supports any code format. This can include Python, Java, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and more.
To-Do List Checkbox: A column representing one or more actions that need to be taken to complete a task or project.
Currency: A column that contains a currency value that represents a task or project. For example, in a website development project, you can track the website development cost in the currency column.
Money: Helps track and manage the financial aspects of tasks and projects.
Add a Column
Follow the steps below to add a column:
Click on the "Create new column" button in the upper right corner of the board.
Select the type of column you want.
Enter the title of the column.
Click "Save Changes" to add your column.

Column Editing
Each column has many customized features. After creating a column you can then refresh that column depending on your needs according to the selected column type.
There are two ways to edit:
You can do it on the first page that appears when you first create the column.
If you want to edit the column after creating it, you can edit it by clicking on the column name and selecting "Edit Property" and then "Save Changes" from the window that opens.

Delete Column
Click on the column name and select "Delete Column" in the window that opens to delete the column you created.

Hidden Columns without Deleting
You may not want to delete some columns in your boards, but you may not want them to be visible either. In this case, you can solve this problem by hiding columns.
Follow the steps below to hide columns:
Click on the title of the column you want to hide.
Press "Hide View" in the box that appears.
Press “Confirm Action” that appears in red.
When columns are hidden, they become invisible in the board. However, you can still edit and access the columns without deleting them from the board.
